Our families had a wonderful long weekend at Cranberry Pond.
The house is in a secluded spot in the woods, in a meadow of flowers overlooking a pond with water lilies. Sunset over the water was beautiful.
The house was well-stocked for us. The kitchen is comfortable for cooking. We ate most meals at home with our kids. The gas grill outdoors is connected to the main gas supply so there was no issue with propane.
Nearby hiking was great. We also drove out to the town of Livingston Manor, which has some cute local food stores and shops. There is also a grocery store, Pecks, for basics. All about 10 minutes away.
Samantha was very responsive and helped us find the crib for the baby and other supplies.
Next time we’ll bring more friends and put some up in the studios. They look serene.
