What a great spot: close to the attractions of Livingston
What a great spot: close to the attractions of Livingston Manor and Roscoe—but nicely secluded, with a wide open space large enough for a few families (or a few couples). We woke to the sunrise over the pond, picked wildflower bouquets, played wiffleball on the lawn, had a few campfires with the generous wood pile, and took advantage of the various hike and swimming hole suggestions in the guidebook included with the house. A few highlights: trout fishing at dawn near the DeBruce; swimming at Mongaup pond and doing the suggested hike nearby to the waterfall; swimming at Neversink fishing spot; taking in a meal and a concert at the Arnold (very kid-friendly); poking around Livingston Manor; sitting on the back deck.
