We absolutely LOVED this country getaway!Went with friends and their kids. We had the Mater downstairs & they had their own two bedroom apartment upstairs.The grounds were amazing…from the beautiful trees and running creek to the barn and our deer friends who visited daily.House had everything we needed and felt like we were home.
The property was absolutely perfection! From the mountain views from the windows, the huge yard for the kids to play, and all the space for us to sleep comfortably, we loved it here! Red Cottage was very easy to communicate with and they responded to any questions we had almost immediately. Thank you for an amazing getaway!
We had such a relaxing stay here! The home is beautiful and bright (note no window treatments), the deck gets great sun on a sunny day, the grill was so easy to use, the hot tub was clean and its a reasonable proximity to Main Street of Livingston Manor! We really had a great time here and would definitely recommend it. The owners/management company were very responsive when we had questions or comments and helpful when we had some trouble with the hot tub (just a tripped fuse!).
Livingston Manor doesn’t have much to do in my opinion, so we spent much of our time at the home – which we wanted to do! It would be so helpful if there were a few more kitchen amenities to make cooking there easier – baking pans, basic spices, olive oil and coffee for the coffee maker would be appreciated!
The one thing I’d say could use some improvement were the beds – I love a firm bed, but these beds were a bit hard and could use a mattress topper. 🙂 All in all – great time though – thank you!

We had an amazing weekend stay with friends at this beautiful home! The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The surroundings were absolutely stunning peaceful, scenic, and perfect for relaxing. We really enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

This place is so beautiful – even more beautiful once you are there. The living room with the stunning tall windows and extremely cozy couch is a great place to spend time together. The bedrooms are well furnished and comfy. The kitchen is totally well stocked. The location is super pretty. Highly recommend renting this place!
We had a lovely weekend at Red Cottage. This was one of the nicest air bnbs I have stayed in. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and had a gorgeous view of the water. There were three couples staying and we had more than enough room. The host was communicative which we appreciated. We would recommend!
