Gordon was a wonderful host who went above and beyond

Gordon was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make our stay in Stowe great. We had a group of 6 people and the apartment worked perfectly! The two rooms and two futons worked well for our sleeping arrangements. The apt is decorated and stocked with all the things you would need for a long weekend ski trip where you don’t expect to do much cooking but that was just fine for me and my friends. Gordon provided plastic wine glasses and even a welcome bottle of wine— a warm touch to come into after a long drive up to Vermont. One of the best things to show how Gordon went above and beyond was when he asked if my friends and I wanted to go sledding and provided a handful of sleds for us to use (knowing some of our group was from Texas and had never done it before). We had a blast for an evening sledding since the front and back yards are perfect and it was something we never expected from our stay. Also, the hot tub: the best ending to a long ski day with sore muscles with a great morning and evening view. You can even see the night time groomer lights going up and down the mountain. All in all we had a stellar trip planned and Stowe is a great ski town, but it was Gordon’s hospitality and gorgeous Airbnb that was the cherry on top. We hope to come and stay again soon!
