We had a fabulous stay in Shawn’s house over the Christmas holiday, 6 of us plus our dog. The house was certainly spacious enough for us all to have our own individual “space” and has inviting larger spaces to come together as a group. We cooked several big meals, the kitchen was well appointed, has all the cookware, etc that we would expect, and laid out in a way that we could all be there together without being crowded. For the rural and outdoor enthusiasts, it is a perfect location. It’s a drive to get to some shopping, restaurants, activities, but the house is perfect for appreciating nature and quiet time together. The hosts were beyond responsive, answered all questions quickly. Before we arrived, they alerted us that the steam room was under repair and provided a rebate which was appreciated. Also, we forgot two items after leaving, and Susanna couldn’t have been more gracious to work with us to return those items. We would certainly recommend this as a great place to stay.
