It's the little things that make a difference: fresh flowers on the table, coffee machine with a bag of ground coffee and filters, everything clean and organized, a pool table with a cue in great shape. A lot of the times places have pictures of all these but when you get there they're in disarray. Not here! Had an amazing stay for a weekend ski trip

The farmhouse was lovely, though we had some trouble getting in. Fortunately we were able to get assistance from the phone line submitted. I think there are dogs that live here regularly, as my allergies were activated in a big way! But overall very comfortable for our party of 6.

The Whistling Oak was incredible. The property was gorgeous (it was covered in snow when we were there, so I could only imagine how nice it would be in the spring or summer), and the surrounding area is great! We loved vintage shopping in Hudson, and there are some great general stores and restaurants nearby.

We're looking forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Skyhawk Cabin. Our family has stayed at multiple Red Cottage properties and while every one is special this one in particular was one of our favorites. We loved the proximity to Okemo and the nearby Butcher & Pantry. The house was well designed and the Red Cottage team was so helpful to work with as always. We can't wait to go back!

Picturesque hot tub.
My only note would be I think the sign about the trash and recycling could be a bit cleared before having to ask / mentioning it at checkout. And from the pictures we didn't realize that one gorgeous room in the back of the house is screen doors not glass so you can't enjoy in the winter.
Other than those very small things it's a great place to stay! I'm sure it's absolutely breathtaking in the summer.

A truly beautiful home - the perfect combination of rustic Vermont vibe and new, modern furnishings. We try to rent in Vermont once a year and this might be the nicest home we've stayed in. Kitchen had a ton of items (including great coffee tools) and pellet stove and gas stoves were extra warm during a cold weekend. About 15 minutes drive to Snowshed and Ramshead, but totally worth being a little further from the mountain to stay somewhere so nice.

This is such a great cabin for a weekend getaway! It was so quaint & cozy. The kitchen is full stocked, which was very appreciated, as we cooked most of our meals there. We were sad that the hot tub didn’t meet our expectations because that is a big reason we chose this cabin! Also, the bathtub was not functioning, so there was only 1 shower for 6 people. Management is going to address this so hopefully the second full bathroom will be up and running soon! The location is great.

The facilities are very well prepared and comfortable. My family and I had a wonderful time staying here, and we would gladly choose this home again.
Stowe, Vermont is an excellent place to create great memories. It is a very charming and romantic town, perfect for enjoying snow activities and the winter atmosphere.
The host was always very responsive and kind, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.
