We were eight on our annual upstate NY trip, and thoroughly loved our time at Red Cottage. The location, while quite far from restaurants/towns, is serenely quiet and peaceful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are generously sized, with shockingly high quality linens (the pillows were a highlight). The kitchen was well equipped to cook for our large group, and the grill outside was put to great use. I cannot overstate how stunning the view into the backyard was - sky, mountain, grassy valley - we often just sat in the living room taking in the environs. The fire pit is also in the perfect location to take in the valley and see the stars on a clear night. I’d wholeheartedly come back, and recommend Red Cottage to anyone looking for peace, quiet, and nature.

Needed tranquility and clean mountain air. This is exactly what we found. Unbelievable views south looking across a bend in the Delaware river onto State Gaming lands. Sweeping mountain horizon of pines and shades of green, yellow, tan, with not a single house or road throughout.
Home is very cozy and clean for 2 guests. Very close to Tusten Mountain trailhead for nice moderate 1.25 hour hike.

This little place is heaven. We used this location for a small styled shoot promoting a wedding dress brand to support a local elopement photographer, as well as a local bridal shop, and we couldn't have found a better place to fit the vibe. Close to the harbor where most of the shoot took place, clutter free home, clean, everything you need for a cozy getaway, and amazing owners that were easy to communicate with. We would stay here again!

We rented this home for our family to spend a long weekend at while celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Norwich University. The booking process was super easy and any questions I had were answered thoroughly and promptly. Aside from the home being beautiful, it was fully stocked and equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable. Check in and check out was easy as well. Highly recommend this rental.

The house is beautifully designed and has everything you could possibly need. The property is huge and beautiful. There were so many games and activities, and everyone had their own room with a bathroom, which made the stay even more comfortable.
We truly recommend this place for big groups and would gladly come back again!
