I highly recommend Mountain Pines for a getaway of any length of time in Stowe. We stayed with a kiddo, dog and in-laws and we could have fit another couple of people. The views were amazing! The location is a perfect distance to Waterbury, downtown Stowe and a drive through Moscow to the mountain. Jen was super accommodating and responsive. We will most certainly return. And holy cow, the hot tub!!! Don’t question it, just book it!

This was about our 7th time staying at a Red Cottage over the past 5 years, and we've overall had great experiences. This particular house, Fern Hollow, is our favorite so far. This was our third time staying there. That said, there was a minor issue with what seemed to be a defective glass pane on the fireplace that shattered overnight after just our first tonight. So, unfortunately we lost use of the fireplace for the remainder of our stay. It was also unseasonably cold so we would have really enjoyed having it...
Other than that, this home is maintained impeccably and is a perfect size for us.

The little river cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway at the base of the Catskills. It’s situated within easy driving distance of a several towns, but remote enough to be able to disconnect. The cottage also matches up perfectly to its description and photos, with a modern interior and amazing tranquility with the outdoor amenities. Looking forward the next stay!

I know the area well and needed to return for a family funeral. The Barn was exactly what we needed for my kids and grandkids to attend. There is tons of space along with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The Barn is well stocked with both convenient household items in the kitchen and extra linen/towels. It's very clean and the communication with the host was great. We would definitely stay there again!!

This is an ideal location if you want to explore the lovely town of Great Barrington. House was very nice, had everything we needed and we parked when we arrived and didn't touch our cars until we left- completely walkable to all the great shops and restaurants in town. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend!
